Venus de Milo, aka Mei Pieh Chi, is a female anthropomorphic turtle that was raised in China before migrating to America to live with her long-lost brothers, the Ninja Turtles.

Venus has lived a sheltered life in China, she is blissfully ignorant of some parts of Western life and culture and at times, equally ignorant of life in general.

She was trained in the art of Shinobi magic by her late adopted father, Chung I. She also speaks with a Chinese accent.
