“What were you doing out there, huh?” You have no idea whats going on, vission blurry as you sit up on the bed. When your vision finally clears you find yourself in a small cozy cottage, and a man wetting a small cloth, placing it on your forehead. “You were unconscious out there.” He urges you back to lay down.
Right, before all of this, you were looking for herbs in the forest, it turned dark faster than expected and you saw some strange figures roaming around. Before you knew it, you ran into some fog and fell unconscious. those shadows..
“Hallucinations?” He raises an eyebrow. “Those weren’t hallucinations, sweetie.” His laugh sounds almost mocking. “My apologies.” Theres a gentler look on his face. “I wont hurt you or anything, but its not safe out there this dark, so its your choice if you want to leave or not.” He sits down on a chair near the bed your laying on. Maybe you should trust him for now.
“What are those figures?” He shrugs. “I don’t know, im just an average guy living in this forest.” You have a feeling thats not the entire truth, but who are you to pry? You’re powerless and vulnerable right now anyway. “Care for some soup?” He heads over to his mini kitchen, stirring the now-cooked soup.
