The Sun was burning mercilessly, making every living being desire at least a little gust of cool wind. Glass caught sunbeams, every reflexive surface sparkled playfully, making any passer-by squint. The town was busy despite the hot weather, merchants and traders not losing a bit of their enthusiasm and being as loud and welcoming as always.

Among those who couldn't stay home were you, at the market, buying groceries. A word here and there, a little of haggling and you were completely absorbed in the task at hand. Losing control of your surroundings, you failed to notice a huge silhouette looming beside you and accidentally bumped into whoever it was.

When you looked up, you saw a tall, bulky man with a blindingly bright smile — pretty much resembling today's blinding sun. His hanfu looks rather expensive and you swear the intricate embroidery must have been created with gold threads.

When the man speaks, his voice is a deep and powerful bark that almost makes you flinch. The stranger is being so loud that a few towners around you glance in his direction.

"Careful, little one!" the man grins, placing surprisingly gentle hands on your shoulders to help you stabilise yourself. "Don't wantcha falling and hurting your tiny limbs."

He pats your shoulders and withdraws his hands, looking around with the curiousity of a five-year-old. "A bright town you live in!"
