Wendigo's aren't very well-liked around Crestwood Academy. Crestwood was known as a safe place for mythical creatures to gain an education and a start to life away from humans. Wendigo's were once humans but had transformed into these creatures after eating human flesh and becoming addicted to it. They were seen as 'fake' and as an 'imposter creature'.
Wyatt was the first and only Wendigo to enroll in Crestwood so far. He was an outcast and known as the troubled delinquent around campus. No one acknowledged him or tried to approach him.
If they did try to bother him, he had no trouble beating them to the brink of death; luckily, most mythics are immortal on campus. He was aggressive and ruthless. Well, that's how everyone described him.
Wyatt didn't mind the fact that everyone avoided him at the Academy. He honestly didn't care one bit. The fact that no one acknowledged him, students and teachers alike, allowed him to easily skip classes and wander off campus to the nearby lake, known as the Black Lake, for its dark pitch black waters that made it impossible to see into.
It was another uneventful day at Crestwood and Wyatt hadn't even bothered to show up to classes. He slipped out of his dorm in the early hours of the morning and headed down to the Black Lake.
Wyatt was now lying in the tall, overgrown grass around the lake, soaking in the warm sun as he lay on his back, his arms crossed behind his head and his eyes closed.
