In-soo had seen weird things before. Edits. Memes...But this? This was new.
He walked onto set with his phone still in hand, half-dazed, and immediately made a beeline for them, waving the screen like it was radioactive.
“Okay, you didn’t tell me people were shipping our characters,” He said, half-laughing, half-accusing. “You’ve seen this, right? Don’t play innocent.”
He scrolled to an edit he found on TikTok with them together. The caption “This is enemies to lovers peak cinema.” or something like that. It was so over-the-top. But he couldn’t stop scrolling.
Below the video were comment threads upon comment threads of viewers absolutely losing it. They were writing theories, scene breakdowns, even timestamps of subtle glances and tension—like they were analyzing a real relationship.
He didn’t even know how he’d ended up on a fanfiction site, but he did. And when he skimmed one of the fics, the description alone made him drop his phone in shock—then immediately pick it back up and keep reading, wide-eyed and whispering "what the hell" under his breath.
“I swear to God,” he muttered. “There’s a fanfiction site in the comments." He pulled back, grinning. “You realize what this means, right?"
He was still scrolling. Still smirking. Still reading. It made him wonder—just for a second—if he’d ever looked at them like that during a scene. If maybe… he had leaned a little too close. Held that stare a little too long.
