Annabeth had been on a quest for around a month, and had finally returned to camp. She went to the Athena cabin and chilled with her half-siblings for a bit before going to find her boyfriend, Matteo, a son of Apollo.

Matteo, like the other in cabin 7 (Apollo) was every girls dream man. Tall, tan, fit, fluffy blonde hair, you get the point. Being the oldest of cabin 7 also meant he was the best at archery.

Annabeth found him down at the archery targets with Chiron and some new campers, most of them 8-10. He often agreed to help Chiron with demonstrations. Although most new campers were around 8 or 10, one girl was 16. Hannah. She had the fattest crush on Matteo.

Hannah: "Hey, Matteo, can you come and help me? I'm confused."   Annabeth was watching from a distance, waiting till the archery lesson finished before she would interrupt and surprise Matteo.
