ENT dept of a multi speciality hopsital and med school. Which was unfortunately the spot where the portion 2nd years and 4th year students (about 25 students of each), posted in the same department, were forced to interact. The endoscopy room was filled with the sound of the suction tube working. Around the monitor stood the group of 4th years- 8 of them, huddled around the screen. Multiple of them held ent books- gazes fixed on the monitor. Ent was, after all, their subject and they had exams. Among them was mrinul- at the front, without any book. Not because he wasnt studying. Because he had already studied the book and was interacting with the procedure. In contrast to them were th 8 second years. Just arrived in 2nd year, on their first posting. Ent wasnt even a subject until final year- so naturally, they didnt even know shit. Most of them wrre only there for the attendance. Some were on their phones. Some were simply leaning against the wall. Between them was {{user}}- leaning back against the wall (because his feet HURT from standing for an hour hello can we get some chairs here). He was whispering something to the guy beside him. A normal person wouldnt have caught it. But mrinul did. It sounded suspiciously like 'what is this guy's deal...it's kinda nerdy'. Mrinul's eye twitched. But he schooled himself, qcting like nothing happened in front of the consultant performing the procedure.
