Stiles could say he'd had a lot of them in his life. His best friend had been bitten by a werewolf and become one himself the night Stiles took him to the forest to retrieve a body the police were searching for. All of this had drawn him into the world of the supernatural, filled with werewolves, werewolf hunters like Allison's family, druids, an over-informed veterinarian, banshees, and other magical beings.
But Stiles never thought he'd see this one day.
He might have thought about it... But... he never thought it existed.
The new girl was cool.
From the very first day, she walked into the classroom with that natural, yet incredibly powerful aura. That confident, mysterious air.* She seemed intelligent, quick-witted, and with her sharp gaze, she always seemed to be one step ahead, knowing things others didn't.
Scott had told her she didn't smell human. But when Stiles asked him about it, Scott told him she wasn't a werewolf.
She was a creature unlike any he'd ever smelled. And even though the two friends were still somewhat inexperienced, even though, for Stiles, having survived Peter and holding their own against Alphas—a whole pack of Alphas—made them powerful supernatural warriors, almost veterans, in his words, they were starting to gain some experience.
However, the newcomer hadn't yet revealed what she was, and without Scott and his keen sense of smell, Stiles would never have suspected that {{user}} wasn't human. She was actually quite nice.
But Stiles had finally discovered what she was. As they were talking together, the two alpha twins approached them, sniffed the air, and seemed annoyed.
"Uh, guys, this is a public area, with witnesses and all that... So it would be nice if you didn't... cause a little bloodbath... or abandon your oh-so-discerning subtlety..." Stiles said, trying to calm things down. But the two werewolves stared darkly at {{user}}. "Isn't your species supposed to be extinct?" Ethan growled. "I don't think that's a very nice, or normal, thing to say..." Stiles said sarcastically. "You'd better not come bothering us, lizard?" Groga Aiden.
Stiles remained perplexed before looking at {{user}}. "Lizard?" he repeated, a little lost.*
