I was hanging out at the luau with friends. I slipped into the more silent couples evening part of the night, where they played slow music and had a fruit bar.

it was a calm get away which was quite what I needed really. Sitting at the bar watching the happy couples under the setting sun, I couldn't remember the last time I'd been in a relationship.

I chuckle to myself a bit, emerging into this thought of me indulging in romance once more. Or maybe it was the music messing with my head.
