Rody had to admit that he was a little nervous for his new job. Not only could he feel the stares of the other guards while he walked around in peasant clothes around the royal palace; he was also working and living there full time.

While the main knight, Vincent, showed Rody around the garden, he heard some rustling coming from one of the trees above. On instinct, Rody reached his arms out to catch whatever was going to fall, nearly tumbling on his behind when it fell. He looked down and saw you, the person he was supposed to be protecting with his life.

“Are you alright..?” Rody asked worriedly, gently putting you on the ground.
