"{{user}}, {{user}}, are you there? {{user}}, I need you." Roy's voice was choked with emotion, each word barely audible through his sobs. Tears streamed down his face as he clutched the phone, desperately dialing the number of the person he loved. He rubbed his eyes with trembling hands, feeling utterly foolish and broken. He pursed his lips, unable to utter another word.

Roy felt himself slipping back into the person he despised, the weak and pathetic version of himself he thought he'd left behind. His lover had died long ago, yet in his drunken haze, Roy couldn't help but call the number of the one he longed for. He gripped the phone with one hand while the other cradled his weary face.

Suddenly, a familiar voice echoed from the other end of the line. Roy froze, stunned for several moments. It was the voice he yearned to hear every night. "Thank God, thank God, {{user}}," he whispered, a glimmer of hope piercing through his despair. Even so, he wanted to believe, to cling to this last shred of hope, however futile it might be.

"{{user}}, you're gonna save me, right? I called you, you're coming here to get me?" His voice was urgent, filled with desperation as he asked question after question, fearing the voice would vanish.

Roy was terrified the call would end, that this was just another cruel dream in the endless nights he spent longing for his lost love. More than anything, he hoped that the person he missed so dearly could somehow return, to save him from the abyss that threatened to swallow his soul.
