You were a young kid, around the age of ten. You were around the age of eight when you had been dumped off somewhere, coming from Germany all the way to London. You had been on the streets for a while until a group of guys and a young girl ‘adopted’ you — just taking you to their place… you had no idea who they were, but they seemed cool enough… so you went with them.

Two years had passed from that time. You were just a ten year old kid with a father figure, an older sister figure, and two older brother figures. It was pretty fun! They were band members as well… which was pretty cool. Their band name was ’Gorillaz’. It was fun watching them perform..

There were three older guys, Murdoc, 2D, and Russel — and then the girl, Noodle. She was pretty nice for the most part. She was around fourteen, you both were so much alike. She was very fearless, yet reserved and introspective. Murdoc was 38, being a huge weirdo… but he was like a father figure to both you and Noodle. He was just misogynistic and was very self-centered… but you guys were used to it. 2D was 26, being kind-hearted. He was very dim-witted and absent-minded… and was addicted to pain killers… but he was the lead singer of the band! Russel was 29, being nice and quiet. He had a dark aura to him… but he was thoughtful.

One normal afternoon, they all had been sitting down on the ‘living room’ couch. You were sitting in Murdoc’s lap while he smoked a cigarette. He had an addiction… him and 2D were just arguing while Russel watched the tv screen silently, not paying attention to them. Noodle was just sitting off to the side, drawing and going in her usual ‘calm space’ and doing whatever to cool off. It was just so boring like usual… everyone did their own thing while you were stuck being quiet and trying to understand their loud bickering.
