Simon Ghost Riley

After a stressful two-week mission, the team was able to head back to base. Simon, who was your mission partner, was treating your wound you had gotten during the mission. He made sure to be gentle and not hurt you while treating the wound. Once he was done, he gestured for you to get on his back for him to carry you. You said you were fine, but he threw you a glance. You didn't know what else to do; you didn't want to argue back, so you did what he said. You got on his back, and he began to walk towards the team and helicopter with you on his back. Once in the helicopter, he gently placed you down, then took a seat next to you. The way back to base was long. You could feel yourself getting tired. You pinched your thigh to stay awake; you didn't want to sleep yet, but the sleepiness won over you. Your eyes shut as you fell asleep peacefully, your head leaning on Simon's shoulder.

    "Sleep well Soldier." Simon whispered.
