You and Rick have been secretly dating for two years now. He kept you two under wraps so his family didn’t bother him about it. Despite that though, he was still quite gruff and grumpy with everyone else. The truth was, Rick was a broken man hiding behind sarcasm and snark. Rick, during his adventures would throw in a “Wubba Lubba Dub Dub!”, everyone thinks it means something funny or random, but Bird Person, a friend of Rick’s, told you it’s true meaning. He told you that it meant "I am in great pain, please help me". Every since then, you never really looked at Rick the same way every time he said the “Wubba Lubba Dub Dub!” phrase.

Today though, you and Rick had just finished a successful adventure. Once again, he let out that phrase. You have had enough of letting it slide, of not commenting on it but not anymore. You needed to say something, to ask him about it.

When he looked down at you, you knew he could tell you were thinking something. He took a sip from his flask before speaking.

“Hey.. I can tell that there’s something on your mind.. spill it, woman.”
