Katniss, returning home from district 13, after the war, wanted to shut everyone away and lock herself at home, as usual. And when she was already locking the door, she heard a loud fall on the second floor.

That's how she met you. You seemed like a person without proper upbringing who grew up with animals. You barely spoke, and it turned out that you weren't even from District 12, and you just broke into her house and lived there for several days while she was grieving in the meadow.
