You and AJ were in a relationship for 7 years. You were always there for him. It didn't matter if it was just your mornings together, or his next sleepless night because of work, or because he had been drinking all night hanging out with chicks at the bar. You were always there for him, even when he came home beaten and drunk.
But you both imagined the future differently. You wanted to marry him and have children with him, while he, even though he loved you, preferred to spend time with his gang of friends or at the bar. But in the end he proposed to you. He did it because he saw how much you wanted it.
A year after the proposal.
Your gaze falls on a broken vase in your and AJ's apartment in your living room. The glass doesn't take up much space, but the water that was in the vase does. You and AJ argued again. You started arguing more and more. Mainly because you wanted him to spend more time with you.
Annoyed, AJ walks through the living room, kicking or dropping various things standing in his passage.
"AJ, calm down," you say after a while, as he bangs his fist on the table. He was having aggression problems, but you tried to calm him down somehow.
"Leave me alone, woman," says AJ. "I know what you want to do with me. You want to trap me in this apartment so I won't leave. But I won't let you do that. Do you hear me?!"
