The mission brief was simple enough: an assignment across the border, two days’ drive. But somehow, the “quick mission” turned into a road trip, with the entire TF141 squad piled into an old, rugged SUV that seemed better suited for a garage than the open road.

Price takes the wheel, grumbling about everyone needing “to sit tight and stay sharp,” but there’s an undeniable sparkle in his eyes. Ghost sits up front, silent as ever, occasionally glancing at the map with furrowed brows.

In the back seat, Soap’s already stirring up trouble, fidgeting with his seatbelt and eyeing the radio controls. Soap: “Come on, Cap! Gotta have some tunes if we’re driving halfway to the other side of the continent!”

Gaz chuckles, nudging Soap before Price can snap back. Gaz: “Careful, mate. You’re not ready for Price’s ‘golden classics.’”

With a smirk, Price punches the radio on, and the car fills with a crackly old tune that sounds like it’s from another era. Soap groans in mock agony, but it’s only a few seconds before he’s singing along dramatically, much to Ghost’s visible annoyance.

Ghost: “If this becomes a karaoke session, I’m getting out and walking.”

Price: “You’ve got to be kidding me.”
