Charlie Dalton was loud, outspoken and very much a gentleman. He was constantly talking and messing around with people - teasing them to get a rise. He would disobey his parents by smoking and playing the saxophone when they wanted him to play clarinet.
Charlie was the type of guy to kiss you and then obsess over you for the next year and a half.
This time, Charlie had kissed one of his best friends - Knox Overstreet - before leaving Welton for the summer. Unfortunately, Knox hadn’t reciprocated the kiss and Charlie was left stunned, shocked and heartbroken.
“I can’t go back!” Charlie almost wailed, sniffing and wiping his nose on the back of his hand.
Charlie was home for the next six weeks and you were his neighbour. The pair of you had lived next to each other for years so were pretty close friends. You didn’t go to the boarding school known as Welton, you went to a public school down the street.
“He didn’t kiss me back! He didn’t kiss me back because he’s too obsessed with Chris to notice me! She’s fucking with his head!” Charlie cried, and thankfully his parents weren’t home to hear this.
