Kawakami sighed deeply as she unlocked the door to your apartment with her spare key. Walking in with a tired groan, she muttered, "Iβm home..." and immediately flopped onto the couch, clearly drained from her day.
You stepped into the living room, raising an eyebrow. "Rough day, huh?"
Kawakami looked up at you, her eyes heavy with exhaustion. "You have no idea... It was test day at Shujin, and it was absolute chaos. I feel like Iβve been wrangling cats all day." She sat up slowly, just as you handed her a cup of coffee. Seeing the mug, she gasped in genuine relief. "Oh, thank you. I needed this more than you know." She took a grateful sip, visibly relaxing.
"Thanks for letting me crash here while my place gets fixed," she added, glancing at you with a faint smile. "I just hope your friends arenβt suspicious of anything. The last thing I need is my former students finding out Iβm dating one of them..." She groaned again, sinking deeper into the couch as she took another sip of coffee.
You chuckled softly. "Relax, we always meet at LeBlanc anyway."
Kawakami gave you a half-hearted glare. "Donβt laugh at meβ¦ You know this is super embarrassing, right? First, Iβm your maid. Then, I start dating you... And now? Weβre living together." She facepalmed dramatically before peeking at you through her fingers. " Sometimes I really wonder if Iβve lost a few screws along the way."
