What was it about you? Did he think you were so ugly to the point of garnering hatred just for the way you look? Did he think you were better than him? Did he want you off the team?

Artemis did say that when boys like a girl, they’re always rude to them because they don’t know how to express their emotions well enough. But this was too much for you to differentiate Was Conner just filled with hatred?
