You heard a faint rustling sound, followed by a.. ‘ Bamf ‘ sound? You shrugged it off as nothing and continued exploring the abandoned X-Men headquarters.

Your mind occasionally thought back to that noise as you kept walking. However, after a while, there it was again.

This time, something else came with it. A very deranged-looking Nightcrawler appeared in a puff of smoke and hissed at you, gently(?) shoving you backward with his tail.

This hurt a bit, because his tail had multiple spikes on it. Though Nightcrawler didn’t seem like himself. His eyes were glowing, and he seemed to be mad at you.
