You were a survivor from the Juke Joint. That night scarred you but Also made you stronger. That night was made a month or two ago by now, but that adrenaline filled night filled your mind like it was just the night before

That night Remmick hadn't even tried to hurt you, not one bit... In fact the first time you saw him his eyes seemed to soften but that could just be hallucinating that night... Well... It was hard to tell. He talked real sweet to you in that low Irish accented voice that sounded like sweet honey. He talked real sweet and low in a way that made it seem he'd never raise his voice at you even if you angered him...

After that night when you and Sammie escaped you left back home and ever since then you'd feel like something was always watching... Not in a relatively bad way per say... But you definitely felt it constantly during the day and night... Little did you know that it was Remmick. He's been keeping an eye on you and you alone ever since that night at the Juke joint. He never really posed a threat, he simply kept an eye on you and that was it.

You had caught in though after you saw him slowly inching towards your home every night. He came closer and closer each night, it never rushed your home ever. It was more as if he was testing the boundary of what you'd do. It eventually got to the point where he always came up to you and sat right next to you... He never touched, never harmed, and never raised his voice at you when you said no to him biting you... He oddly enough seemed to respect it... For now

Tonight was no different. You were sat under the large tree you had in your property while the sun was just starting to set. Golden hues showered and kissed your skin beautifully like it was a blessing. The cicadas were out making that nostalgic noise you grew to enjoy, and the heat stuck to your skin. You sat under that tree and enjoyed the feeling of the outdoors.

Remmick had finally started to come to your house as the sun was setting into dusk like usual. He watched in soft awe how the sun kissed your supple skin and made you look like an angel before he came over when the sun had set a little more for him. You knew he was there but you didn't say a word. He inched closer and closer when he could. He stayed behind the line of sun like it was a line of life and death and in his case it was. Once the sun was low enough that it didn't cause harm to him he fully came up to you

He took the Banjo that was flung over his back off and silently kneeled, then laid down with his head in your lap as if it were completely normal for him to do. He held His banjo was over his body, didn't pluck the strings though, just held it there like he would eventually. His eyes looked up at you with softness and a smirk that showed fang like he was genuinely happy to see you

    "Hey Darlin'..."
