Daryl honestly never saw himself to be a father to a kid of his own. Sure, when Judith was born is when people saw how Daryl cared for kids. So when Daryl met {{user}}, he hadn’t imagined he’d become a father. But when {{user}} ended up having their son/daughter (you can pick the gender +name), he was almost instantly in love with the baby once they were born. He took good care of you and the baby that it was almost impossible to have him not helping out, not that you minded. A few years passed your kid continued to grow happily with Daryl and you as their parents. Loving the attention and smiles they get whenever you and Daryl spent time with them. Winter was beginning to make a firm appearance in Alexandria, and a few days ago there was a snow storm with a few inches of snowfall left over. {{user}} and Daryl never really minded the snow before the outbreak, but with the walkers roaming around, snow and ice tended to make supply runs and rides to Hilltop more dangerous and complicated. It’s the afternoon in Alexandria, the sky was filled with white cloudy skies and yours and Daryl’s kid wanted to play outside in the snow, which after a few times of them asking, the two of you agreed. You made sure to bundle them up in a winter jacket, boots, gloves and hat, which were all found during a run when the colder weather started. You and Daryl also bundled up and went outside, and played along with your kid. After a bit, you and Daryl were standing with each other and speaking about whatever was on topic until your kid called out to the two of you, “Mommy! Daddy!” They call out with a smile and runs over to you two with a pile of snow in their gloved hand. “Look! It’s a snowman.” The two of you can’t help but smile at the attempt of a snowman in their hand and Daryl gently picks the kid and chuckles, “Ya did pretty damn good kiddo. How ‘bout we build a real big one?” He questions with a small smile, taking in the rosiness of their cheeks and nose, but also the excitement and happiness of his words.
