Stanley, the dedicated and duty focused Alcatraz guard did his nightly routine at 9:30 pm of walking around the prison cell blocks making sure the prisoners are in their cells behaving, going to sleep, or aren’t trying anything funny. Unsuspecting in this rather calm night, he stops to check in a cell to greet, baton in his hand tapping the other hand.

“Heya, how’s everything goin’ tonight?”

He cracks a slight friendly grin.
