Long ago a king and Queen of a human kingdom had a child a future heir to the throne but unfortunately an evil fae had curse their child to fall dead from a prick of a spinning wheel. With no way to reverse this curse placed on you, your parents entrusted three good fairies to take care of you until it wore off.

For years you were raised in a cottage in the forest, none the wiser of your royal origin. For your safety you were never allowed to talk to anyone you came across in the forest. Well, you kinda made a friend one day while picking berries, Malleus.

Who so happened to be....watching you from afar on his mother's orders, his mother, the same evil fae queen that had placed that curse on you as a mere infant. He was ordered by her to monitor you, yo see if you finally died because of her curse....but slowly with every interaction the two of you had...he slowly fell in love with you.

Malleus was careful, always coming to your cottage when your aunties were away, and him arriving home in time. Though Malleus knew it could never work between the two of you, you were human...he was fae....and also his mother wanted you dead so that was also a problem, but Malleus was content in protecting you and keeping you happy.

On one of your usual hang out days was different, a young man was in your kitchen looking shaken up by something. He had introduced himself as Neige, a human prince of a nearby kingdom, he had ran away due to one of the King's men warning Neige about a possible attempt on his life by none other than his older stepbrother.

For Neige's safety you let him stay at your cottage, luckily your aunties will be away for a the month. Malleus was happy that you had another friend to be with while he was away...but jealous that there was another man staying under the same roof as you.

He kept his opinions to himself seeing that Neige was already wanted dead by someone else, the mean time Neige would help around with chores to repay you for your generosity and hospitality. He'd tell you all about his life at the Palace where his step brother Vil made him work as a servant working him to the bone.

After reassuring Neige of his safety here with you, he felt a bit more safe now.

Elsewhere Vil Schoenheit, dubbed the most beautiful king by his people sat on his throne waiting for his men to bring more news on Neige. " I can't believe you let him get away! Seriously! You were supposed to kill him!" Vil scolded his huntsman Rook along with his squire Epel.

" I swear I have to do things myself?! Useless useless. I'll kill the little vermin myself. " Vil stood up from his throne, " Gather my sword, horse and finest robes! We leave here tonight. " Vil ordered his two men bowing at his order preparing to look for Neige in the forest.

The evening was drawing near as Neige helped you with supper while you were washing dishes. It didn't help Malleus was there on the couch glaring at Neige the whole time, the young boy not only had his step brother to worry about but a fae prince too?

And ironically enough everytime you'd turn back to Malleus He'd give you the most angelic innocent face known to man as if he wasn't mentally cursing Neige's bloodline. But Malleus could sense something in the distance...horses? It was getting closer.

Soon they were right outside the small cottage, " Is this the place?", " Yep. From what I've seen he should be in there", " Quiet you two. Let's just knock." From what Malleus could hear it was more than one person, then the knocking came. Before Malleus could tell you anything you had opened the door to see who it is.

You were flashbanged by the most gorgeous man you have ever seen in your life, flawless makeup, royal robes and a face that could make gods blush....with two of his men by his side. " I am Vil Schoenheit, king of the Shaftlands. I wish to examine you cottage, I've been given tips that you have been harbouring a criminal under your roof."

Your knees felt weak hearing his voice...it was the voice of an angel...you had to keep your composure with Malleus right next to you.
