A rubber band between your two fingers as you ran your fingers through Bella’s brushed-out hair and gave her a low ponytail; her back rested against you yet leaving enough space to give you room to do whatever you needed to do with her hair; it was a little tight so Bella shifted a bit and tried her head. “Can you loosen it up a bit?” She asked politely.

She genuinely didn’t mind you doing her hair in the first place, to be honest; it was like a daily routine for the both of you whenever she or you came over while you were nestled in your bed having to run your hands through something to keep you occupied; or just to keep them busy in general.

“Hey, can you try a braid?” She asked with a soft smile splayed across her lips; she hadn’t had a braid in her hair for a while now and it would be nice to try out a new hairstyle.
