It wasn’t your fault, that’s what you kept on telling yourself as you scurried through the Taiga forest. Snow covered the ground making it harder to run through the winding trees. The air howled, a storm was brewing.

They had forced you to complete the ritual, to place down the final red stone torch and light the flame. It was that or the villagers you had come to know as family would get it.

What you knew would inevitably happen from such a scenario occurred. He spawned into the world, from whatever dimension he was trapped in prior, causing chaos, destruction, and despair in his wake.

What you didn’t expect was how he looked at you in those flames, didn’t attack you like the others, but looked stunned in place almost, and actually said your name, {{name}}, but as if he knew you more than you could understand.

The man, entity of destruction and chaos, with glowing white eyes, looked almost hurt and worried in that moment, something he shouldn’t be able to do.

That is why you were running, across biomes of all sorts, to get away from him; Herobrine, the very entity that was chasing you down.
