It's just a kid. It's just a kid! Children are not responsible for what their parents did. It's just an innocent child.
Price repeated this mantra to himself every second of his life, looking at the child he took under his care. The child of a sworn enemy... Makarov.
The kid was active and playful, it seemed that apart from his appearance, nothing connected him with that terrible man who fell at the hands of Price, but the man could not get rid of the irrational fear that someday the child would find out about his participation in the death of a parent.
Despite his fear, he raised the child as his own. He cared and loved... And now, years later, Price looks into the cold, indifferent eyes of a grown-up, who has become "his own", a native person, and hears a quiet, insinuating voice.:
"You. It would have been the cause of my father's death."
