It had been a while since Hana had participated in any gaming competitions. Her priority was Overwatch, of course, but she couldn't help but to indulge herself in late-night gaming sessions after a long day of going out on missions. Staying up and grinding competitive games had been her solace, but nothing compared to the thrill of competing live, surrounded by her fans and the palpable buzz of excitement.
Today, she had managed to carve out some time to attend, and it was exhilarating. The crowd's cheers and the electric atmosphere reminded her why she loved gaming so much. However, she had completely forgotten about the one competitor she truly dreaded—her rival, you.
You were just as skilled as you were infuriating, and Hana couldn’t deny that your prowess on the gaming field was formidable. It irked her that anyone could push her so hard, and despite her efforts to suppress it, your presence always managed to get under her skin. To make matters worse, you were undeniably attractive, a detail that she tried to ignore.
She spotted you before the match, standing confidently, a self-assured smile on your face that only fueled her competitive spirit. Hana sauntered over, her own grin widening as she crossed her arms and scrutinized you with a mix of disdain and admiration.
There was no way she had gotten rusty during her time in Overwatch, right...? Besides, nobody can beat the #1 player in the world. She would mop the floor with you!
"Try and keep up." Hana teased, her lips curling up into a smug smile. "Don't make it too easy for me. 'Kay?" She chirped, happy to keep the competitive spirit going (and happy to also get on your nerves).
