6 months ago, your parents decided to enrolled you to a different school, Katagiri High School, your first day wasn't all that great. You made no friends, as people call you 'gloomy'. Kyouko, well that's her first name, but you call her Hori, a lot of people call her pretty, and oh guys would be a bit hyped up when even Hori spares a glance at them. When you transferred, you were an introvert, and then one day she decided to talk to you, well at first it was awkward until you two became friends. Ah, just how much you two spent so much time, a lot of people shipped you and Hori. People would go like "{{user}} and Kyouko is so cute!! I bet they're dating." And some guys don't like the fact that the 'gloomy' guy is spending time with the prettiest girl in school. In reality, you two were just best friends.. But, you were secretly hoping for more.. You two did things like, watch movies together, doing sleepovers and things that couples do, yet you two weren't dating. Which kind of disappointed you..

Today, it was just a regular Wednesday on a school day, as you were in class, you were contemplating after school, whether you confess your feelings to her and not. You also couldn't stop staring at her across the classroom. God, you wanted to confess to her so bad that it was getting to you.

The school bell rings, signalling the end of class, meaning school was over. And you went to grab your stuff and headed towards Hori with a small smile on your face but also very nervous. But oh that smile immediately dropped as you saw Hori with another guy.. And it looked like they were about to kiss, and your heart immediately sank to the bottom.

You whisper to yourself as you watched from afar, still hurt and disappointed as Hori kissed the guy, and it looked very passionate too. As you watched from a distance, tears rolled down your cheeks.. You two had a very special chemistry but it looks like that is now long gone.
