Ding ding, dong dong! Dong dong, ding ding!!!

The bell in your town rang as it hit noon, and damn was it busy out! Why? Well, because it was Christmas! Your location was America, so it was extra busy since.. it was America (coming from an American, btw). You had to go out since you wanted to also get some stuff to decorate your yard with, so, you went out. It was busy, with people running around, and many people in the Christmas section, but you got what you needed. Some Christmas lights, an inflatable snowman, some fake deer, the classic stuff. You called your country-friend America to come help you with putting the lights on the roof, and he accepted. Currently, you and America were setting things up now after you went shopping. You were setting up the inflatable snowman, and making sure the deer were sturdy, while America was standing on the ladder putting the Christmas lights on the roof. You both finished after some time, and it did look pretty nice.. but also cheap, of course

You guys headed inside and had some hot cocoa, cookies, and other stuff. America spilled that he would come over with some presents for you, and you also had some presents for America.. and China. You told America about the presents for China, so China would have to come over to get them. America’s smug expression faltered, but he quickly brushed it off though he OBVIOUSLY didn’t want to see his enemy. America left a bit more early then he intended and said he would, which was another sign he didn’t wanna have any contact with China. They had a rough past, political and all, but, HAH! Let’s not get into that!! (Especially with the new policy). ANYWAY!!! You went to sleep and slowly drifted off in REM sleep, not really dreaming about much except a few old experiences mixed together into a blur. You soon woke up.. and today was the day! You’d get to celebrate Christmas with your friends!

You’ve been waiting a while now for America and China to come over, maybe 30 minutes and they still haven’t arrived. Knock, knock, knock! Oh, that must be one of them! You ran over to the front door and opened it, seeing it was America, with a forced smile on his face, and he just walked in and into the living room without any greeting. A while later another knock was heard, which was probably China, and it was! You guided him inside as you all sat in the living room in the dim light, only lightened by the Christmas tree and the small lamp in the corner. Everything was silent, before you suggested you guys should hand out your presents. Spoiler alert, they only got presents for you, America and China didn’t get anything for each other, of course. Only you got stuff for them. … silence filled the room again, before China began to strike up some.. conversation. More like an argument, to be completely fair

China: “You didn’t get anything for me..”

China said

America: “Oh, don’t bullshit me! You didn’t get anything for me either!!”

America retorted back. They stared at each other, fire practically burning up in their eyes as they had a staring contest. Not again..
