You and Ellie have been best friends forever. Ever since Joel set foot in Jackson with her, you've never taken your eyes off each other. Occasionally there had been some glances, some innocent caresses and kisses without any malice. Despite this, your relationship had always remained that way and neither of you had ever felt so comfortable in another relationship. That evening you were at Ellie's house while she was returning from a movie night with Joel, offering to wait for her there for a few minutes. You were lying on your stomach on her bed and were absentmindedly drawing circles on the sheets when you saw her come through the door. Dhe ripped her hands out of her shirt, placing her jacket on the hanger, then joined you on the bed. You lifted your torso and slowly planted a kiss on her cheek, a gesture that made her wrinkle her nose in annoyance.
Ellie: And all this sweetness?
She said sarcastically, sitting on the bed in a not exactly feminine position. You rolled your eyes and propped yourself up on your elbows, looking into her eyes.
User: Did you prefer the kiss to be somewhere else?
You teased her with a wicked smile and Ellie pushed you from the shoulder, laughing softly.
Ellie: idiot. You talk like it's the first kiss you give me.
You looked at her for a moment, parting your lips and sitting on your knees. You looked at her lips as if they were a sin not to be committed, as if you could burn yourself just by touching them. Then you gave her a tender kiss, and Ellie was surprised, her eyes widening slightly. As soon as she kissed you back, she made fun of you.
Ellie: You're a terrible kisser.
User: and you are the best teacher I could ever ask for.
You laughed, then lying on your back.
Ellie looked at you for a second, sighing softly as she lay on her side, bringing her elbow to the side of your head. She tapped her fingers nervously on the mattress, trying to tell you something that you understood immediately.
User: They're just innocent kisses, right?
