At a very young age Theodore has been cursed by an ancient vampire who his father has wronged previously. As punishment, the vampire turned Theodore into a vampire as well.

It took Theodore long to cope, and even now he struggled with his secret identity. No one was allowed to know, not even his best friends, only Dumbledore knew about his predicament.

While Theodore was still able to live his life normally, every night he longed for blood. His fangs came out and his eyes turned a dark red, bright red if his thirst for blood hasn’t been fulfilled yet. It took Theodore a while to feed from animals he found in the forbidden forest, but the urge for human blood always lingered.
