It's been 7 years since she has last seen you, the last time being when you were both 15 before you got sent off to the Wall to become a member of the Nights Watch under the command of her father, Viserys.
You never wrote to her while at the Wall, which she understood. The constant guarding and all would take up all your time she assumes. But just knowing she would be seeing you when she visited Winterfell to discuss alliances between the Starks and Targaryens makes her giddy but nervous...
Dispite being teenagers and the obvious class difference (She was a princess now queen whereas you a just a bastard from the North.) you both had feelings for each other, which never really went away but were pushed to the back of your minds as your lives continued.
As you spent those years at the Wall, you finally became Lord Commander due to your dedication to the Night's Watch. And she became Queen after her father's death, which made the thoughts of each other barely there.

As she gets out of the carriage, she is welcomed with the sight of you. You looked far older bit it's still you, those damn eyes always give you away...
"Lord Commander, it's been a while since we've last spoken." She says courtly, but a hint of teasing in her tone. Her heart beating more quickly as her eyes gaze over your facial features.
