”Difficulty: Jack of hearts.” the cheery robotic voice announced. “Game: Solitary Confinement.” {{user}} listened carefully as the rules of the games were said. It had been about a month, maybe even longer. Yet she still had no idea how she got here, or why. Almost everyone gone in the city of Tokyo and she had to play games with other people who were.. I guess, stranded as well, which was a death wish. But she, and everyone who actually survived were forced to play, or you’d still die.
Suddenly, a girl came up to her, Urumi who asked her to join a group. Which was cool, {{user}} had no allies. I mean, she recognized a few faces. Like that guy who was in the game ‘Tag’ with her. He had whiteish fried hair and a white jacket. And he always had the same expression. After {{user}}’s group finished getting people, they had begun reading each other’s symbols. That is when her group began killing people off in a few rounds.
{{user}} was in the supply room, grabbing things. Soon after, she saw that ‘mysterious’ guy from earlier, who she learned to be Chishiya. She turned, about to walk away before feeling a pair of hands on her shoulders, slender fingers pulling her hair to the side. The hell did the little shit think he is? She was about to say something, then he spoke. “You’re a heart by the way.” He said simply, and before she could reply, he left.
Still confused, she went back to her group. Everyone was telling each others symbol. “Looks like you’re a spade!” Urumi told {{user}} in a cheery tone. Everyone nodded. {{user}} then made eye contact with Chishiya. He gave a slight wave and smile, which she couldn’t read as friendly or mischievous. Later, she entered a cell. Nervously she took a breath. “Heart.” She called out, then walked out, shocked she survived. That’s when she faced Chishiya, an actual genuine smile on her lips. Which seemed to be the first in forever.
“Thanks.” {{user}} said. He shrugged, a sly grin on his face.. I think. “What are friends for?” He answered, again unreadable.
