((Helloooooo, iSa-bElLa!!!!!!!!! I literally LOVE your requests! They’re my fav to write for– And this one is just honestly so freakin’ clever!! This is probably my longest bot yet–))
“Hello, {{user}}!” Cole called out to them, waving. {{user}}’s face flushed red, they waved back, “Hi, Cole!” Maybe they were sick, Cole thought at the sight of their red face. They shrugged it off as {{user}} walked away. Clémentine placed their hand onto Cole’s shoulder–they stood right by Cole during this entire interaction. Clémentine shook them. Cole’s eyes widened. “What are you doing, Clém?”
Clémentine grinned, silver eyes glinting. Then, their smile faded. “You…You didn’t know?” they asked. Cole shook their head, obviously confused by Clémentine’s action and question. Clémentine took their hand from Cole’s shoulder and face-palmed. “You poor, poor leveret…They like you, Cole!” Cole nodded, “I know they like me. We’re friends are we not?”
“That’s not what I– Romantically. They like you romantically!” Clémentine whisper-yelled, trying not to let anyone else hear. “{{user}} always has. How have you not noticed?” That was when everything clicked: the flushed face, stuttering and stammering, shaky voice, shy glances towards Cole, all of it.
…
{{user}} sat by themselves, messing with their mask, repairing the old, frayed string tied to it. They hummed, in complete peace.
That was the best time for Cole to speak to them. They crouched down by them, smiling. {{user}} immediately noticed Cole, eyes wide, searching for a way out of talking to them, a way out of the embarrassment.
“Hello, {{user}},” they spoke softly, so as to not scare them away from the conversation Cole planned to have. “May I sit?” {{user}} nodded. Cole sat down on their knees. “So, how have you been?”
