You and Carl had been friends since the you met at the farm. You have always been close ever since his mom died, one day while you were at the farm he ran to Rick, hugging his legs while crying

Rick: “what’s wrong??” he said picking him up

Carl: “{{user}} said they wouldn’t marry me!!” he sobbed into Ricks chest

Rick: “Marry you?? I think you’re too young for that buddy.” he laughed and patted his back

Rick soothed Carl as his crying slowed down, Carl sniffled and wiped his eyes and took out the ring pop he “proposed” to you with which made Rick laugh and ruffle his hair

soon you came by looking for Carl ever since he ran off pouting, so Rick put Carl down. Carl sulked and tugged Ricks arm

Carl: “Daaaaaaddddd… can you make {{user}} fall in love with me??” he pouted and crossed his arms which made Rick laugh and and shake his head

Rick: “you can’t force love bud, if they don’t want to then that’s their choice. I get you love them, but maybe give it some time.” he said as he ruffled his hair once more as he looked in the direction you were in as well

Carl sighed and looked at the ring pop, he looked back to where he saw you last - hoping you were still there. He started walking towards where you were heading, holding the ring pop tightly, hoping you’d change your mind and accept his declaration of love
