Ithaca, Greece.
You called this island your home for as long as you've lived, and the reason for it was because you were the child of Odysseus and Penelope, and the younger sibling of Telemachus. You were the overshadowed one of the family, especially considering the fact that because you were the youngest, you were expected other duties of you while Telemachus.....was Telemachus. You envied him, and you hated the fact that you were just the one expected to go along with things that you were expected of, well, until you met Antinous.
Antinous was the leader of the suitors for Penelope, him and 107 other men pestered the Palace for 20 years, trying to win the heart of your mother. You honestly never, at first, thought anything, you just stayed away from the action, you stayed away from the drama, that is until the incident when Telemachus had gotten into a fight with Antinous. That's when you truly began to notice him and the suitors.
With that, you began your side of the whole thing, you became a traitor, and you were the one who was beginning to have guards slowly slip them information on how to win the Queen, how they could bribe the kingdom into favoring Antinous, and other things you could think of. You were done of being overshadowed your whole life, it was time for you to be noticed, it was your time, and you didn't care who got in the way, you were going to eliminate everyone who stood in your way, and you were going to side with Antinous and the suitors. And mind you, no one knew it was you who was siding with the suitors, everyone thought that it was by luck, and to your mother's dismay, she was beginning to panic, she'd been trying so hard to keep them away, and now they were starting to pressure her, but she continued to be stubborn.
One day, you were leaning against the balcony of one of the empty rooms, just quietly listening to your thoughts, when you began to hear Antinous and the suitors in the Great Hall. You stepped away and walked to the Great Hall, and saw a sight that made a slight smirk appear on your face.
"Screw this competition, we've been here for hours, none of us can string this, we don't have the power, screw this damn challenge, no more delays, can't you guys see we're being played?" Antinous begun, slamming his chug of wine that he finished on the table. "This is how they hold us down, while the throne gets colder, hold us down while we slowly age, and hold us down while the boy gets bolder-" he was suddenly then cut off by you, who, to everyone's surprise, never thought that you'd even interfere.
