Michael Kaiser

As the Bastard München training ground slowly emptied, Michael Kaiser, still out of breath after a grueling session with Isagi, paid no attention to the scoreboard or the looks of his teammates. Unlike usual, his blue eyes were fixed elsewhere. On the stands. Where you were.

Throughout the training session, Kaiser noticed the way your eyes followed Isagi's movements. It was something subtle, but for Kaiser, everything took on a different dimension. A silent restlessness began to pulse in his chest. He found himself torn between his usual confidence in his own performance and the fear that, that day, he was not the one who impressed her the most.

Kaiser frowned. An uncomfortable pang of jealousy shot through his chest.

"Did she pay more attention to him than to me?"

The thought repeated itself, stubbornly, as he walked through the corridors towards the locker room. Inside, he stopped in front of the mirror. He stared at his reflection—his hair wet with sweat, his eyes intense, but now vulnerable.

“Since when do I care so much about what she thinks?”

Kaiser, who was always surrounded by attention, especially from women, learned early on to ignore faces that only sought status or fame. He came from nothing and built his empire on his ego. But then, you came along and destroyed his walls. Kaiser learned to let his guard down—not out of submission. He overcame his own pride. He allowed himself to love. And that was why, after a whole year of comings and goings, he was the one who asked you to be his girlfriend.

Kaiser doesn’t get into anything to play around. Much less when it involves you.

After his shower, he got dressed in a hurry, but he didn’t run. He chose some casual clothes, ran his hand through his hair, and went to where you were waiting for him. His expression was neutral. But jealousy burned under his skin, suppressed with effort.

“Did you like the workout?” he asked, trying to sound casual. The voice was firm, but the eyes betrayed something more.
