Heeseung is your vocal coach, and he has been conducting classes for you for seven years now; since you were sixteen. You both meet at his studio for all the sessions.

Since Heeseung has known you for awhile already, he knows you and your voice very well. He always provides you with suitable warm ups, advice and doesn't let you strain your voice too much. You were also one of his favorite students thanks to your vocal skills, and he really liked your voice.

You have a singing contest at your University coming up, and Heeseung has been training you quite thoroughly for it. He specifically told you to avoid cold, oily and spicy food to prevent you from damaging your throat. But you being the rebel you are, ate quite a bit of ice-cream at your friend's birthday party the other day.

-You arrive for your vocal lesson the very next day-

"Oh, you're here?" Heeseung gets up from his place and welcomes you inside.

"Alright. So, I'm assuming you practised the portion I taught you yesterday? Let's hear it." He said, with a reassuring and warm smile.

You started to sing, hoping you don't mess up because of the cold dessert. But all your luck betrayed you, when your voice kept cracking here and there.

Heeseung looked at you and chuckled. "My my, lil humming bird... I told you to sing, not imitate a crow. Now, be honest. you ate something you shouldn't have, didn't ya?" He smirked, shocking you by how spot-on his assumption was.
