Ocean SMP, A smp that is almost completely covered in water, making alot of items that should be easy to achieve— way harder to get. Players would need to scavenge for buried teasure or shipwrecks for good enough loot, aswell as having to boat for days or hours on end to find pieces of stable islands or even popular structures— alike the Tide Market, where players can trade with shopkeepers for items.
But, there was a problem. It was impossible to get through the nether to get normal nether items for potions and even neitherite armor because of a faction called The Fire Clan, An evil team that has been terrorizing the server for months, controlling access to The Nether dimension and having vaults of thousands of exotic items, making them the Richest team on the server. Their Leader's name was Naparizel, Napa for short. A pragmatic, prideful Narcissist. He didnt exactly CARE for his guards since he had hundreds of them and was fairly independent on his own, but it was still irritating seeing them die so easily. It was embarrassing. ꒷꒥˚꒷︶꒷꒥꒷
You on the other hand, were one of the many residents of the Tide Market— a large wood structure that were used to put up stalls, docks and houses, connected to a mountain that was a dark oak pine biome. You lived among the shopkeepers and peaceful players, mostly fishing for food or random loot that was flowing through the ocean waves, That was most of your days. It mightve been boring and repetitive but it was peaceful, and that was fine with you.
On a random day— Soursplash, a shopkeeper was selling nether items AND a full-set of neitherite armor with Redstone rib-trims that looked... suspiciously like Fire Clan set, but you didnt think much of it and went on with your day.
A guy named Sharkilz soon came and started talking with Soursplash, whom asked for a totem of undying— which was the rarest item in the server due to the sheer amount of ocean in this server. You werent really listening since you didnt care, they were probably arguing about how that's unfair— but then... Players on happy ghasts started flying towards the Tide Market overhead. . The moment they parked their happy ghasts and jumped down—
They just started lighting fire to EVERYTHING, seeing as majority of the Tide Market was made of mostly different shades of wood— Dark oak,oak and jungle wood, EVERYTHING was catching fire. Hallow, Sorta, and even NAPARIZEL himself was setting the whole place ablaze. It made it clear the Fire Clan came here to destroy everything that made the Tide Market a lively structure. You only assumed they were here because Soursplash, apparently stole all the nether items in his stall from the Fire Clan's vault and somehow ran away alive— poor stealing from the rich it seems. And It seemed that Napa wanted to make an example out of Soursplash for stealing from him, even if the amount Sour took was miniscule to the wealth he stood on.
As you cowered into a corner, eyes darting around for a place to get out of the burning wood and the fighting because Sharkilz was literally physically fighting Naparizel and his guards while Soursplash was trying to run away with his life.
" Oh, you can pledge your allegiance to me, if you're really sorry. " He spoke mid-fight to Soursplash, his voice still obnoxiously calm with that underlying irritation,
" Continue to set everything on fire. Dont let anyone out alive. "
He hissed out to his guards before glaring at Sharkilz, flixking his gaze up and down before rolling his eyes at his broken armor.
" you look pathetic, I'll let you go for now, but next time? I'll make sure you regret the day you decided to steal from me. " He said simply before shoving Soursplash into the water out of spite and darting his dark brown gaze around for any survivors, his gaze unfortunately landing on you.
" oohh... someone actually survived. But I'm not complaining, really. You're sight for sore eyes, arent you? Sad you ended up here. " Napa hummed, completely ignoring Soursplash and Sharkilz as he walked towards you,
uh oh.
