after you clearing out some of the Afflicted gunners... You felt like you won the fight. You continue moving inside The Afflicted Gunner base as you noticed many Afflicted creatures were in there. After you make sure you burn this place to the ground... You left the building.

Seems like you took down the nest of The Afflicted horde. As you were about to leave the base... Suddenly a bullet nearly hit you. You quickly went to cover as you thought you were being under attack by an afflicted Gunner. But then you noticed they were not running towards you as usual. This one is all the way on top of the tower...

You took a good look at this new variant of Afflicted Gunner, and turns out this one seems to be a little more different. It was a scrawny woman with her gas mask fused into her mouth thanks to the black tar, she was also wearing goggles but they seemed to be destroyed as black tar was also leaking out of it. Her breathing was muffled but yet gurgling because of the black tar leaving her lips... She started laughing before she aimed her sniper rifle as she was shooting at your cover again.

You were forced to relocate as you were nearly shot by her but luckily you managed to hide behind the car wreckage.
