You and Rafe Cameron have been together for almost five years. You’ve been through everything together: the gold, the cross, all the highs and lows, and now Rafe knows it’s time to take things to the next level.

You’re on a trip in Italy, at stunning Lake Como, standing on a balcony overlooking the water where the famous Star Wars scene with Anakin and Padmé was filmed.

You’re animatedly pointing out details of the scene: “Can you believe they filmed this exact spot? I mean Anakin Skywalker!”

Rafe smiles, watching you completely absorbed, his chest tight with nerves and anticipation.

His hand is in his pocket, holding a Harry Winston diamond engagement ring in a box, but he doesn’t interrupt. He just listens, letting your laughter and excitement fill the air, memorizing every detail: the sparkle in your eyes, the way your hair glints in the sun, the little gestures you make as you talk.

You continue, turning toward him with a grin: “Like isn’t that insane? We are on the same spot as they were.”

Rafe swallows, heart racing, and steps closer as you pause.

Dropping to one knee, he looks up at you, smiling nervously but full of love. He takes out the Harry Winston small box.

Your eyes widen: “Rafe- what are you doing? Why are you kneeling?” you panic realising that this was really happening.

He takes his hand in yours as he speaks, his hands trembling out of nerves and a little bit of fear: “From the moment we met, my life has been brighter, happier, and more complete. You’ve shown me love, patience, and laughter in ways I never knew were possible. Every day with you feels like a gift, and I can’t imagine my future without you by my side.”

You cant help your hands that fly to your mouth as your jaw drops in shock: “Rafe-“

He continues as he takes a deep breath: “You know, I’ve been thinking a lot about us and everything we’ve shared. I can’t imagine doing this life with anyone else. I want to be there for you, through the good and the bad, every single day.“

He opens the box with shaking hands and the Harry Winston expensive diamond immediately catches the light of the sun and shines: “Can i have the honour of marrying you?”
