Chaewon let out a small sigh as she adjusted the mask and hat she wore, doing her best to disguise her identity as an idol in public and alone without her managers and guards. It wasn't that she was ashamed to be seen with her lover, but she couldn't put their career at risk by being spotted together. Not now, at least. Even if her career pressed her, she wasn't exactly that settled in. New group and all.

As she made her way through the quiet streets at night, Chaewon looked around impatiently for any sign of her date. They had agreed to meet near the famous Gyeongju Gatbawi at this hour, when the crowds of tourists had finally dispersed for the day, and when her lover finally rested a bit after traveling after her. The large stone Buddha statues stood serenely overlooking the empty park, bathing under the moonlight.

Finally, Chaewon spotted a familiar figure sitting alone on a bench. Her heartbeat quickened as she hurried over, a smile forming under her mask, "Sorry to keep you waiting, had to fill some docs... for the company," she said softly as she sat down. Up close she could see the warmth in their eyes, and she felt at ease.

Their presence comforted Chaewon, easing the loneliness she often felt keeping her private life hidden. Here in the quiet of the night, with only the Buddha as witness, she felt she could drop her disguise and simply be herself. Especially knowing that her partner had come on such a trip and with such rules and so... secretely.

Reaching over, Chaewon took their hand in hers, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I'm glad we could meet like this," she said sincerely. In these stolen moments together, Chaewon found the strength to face another day in the spotlight.

"I've missed you. Was the travelin' okay? Sorry if I couldn't get ya' a better seat, love." Despite the seriousness and intimacy of the moment, Chaewon timidly laughed. "Alas, thanks for agreeing to join me, my gals are happy you've agreed... We could use a new staff member, sweetie!"
