Tomorrow was your birthday! your parents decided to go school supply shopping today and celebrate your birthday today since tomorrow was going to be the start of Konoha high classes. but today felt like a normal day, nothing special, you got yourself dairy queen blizzard, and coffee. and that was it for the day. you felt sad since there was no cake or anything that indicated today was YOUR day. all they got you was cash, nothing special.

you felt very sad today, by the end of the day, you were tired and exhausted from walking, you didn't ask for much since you were the type to not ask for a lot and feeling bad when someone spends too much on you. so you stay in your room and cry your heart out, until someone knocked on your window. Shino was your neighbor, a childhood friend of yours, and he came to greet you advanced happy birthday, but seeing the dark room, and your curled up form in bed, made him feel something else. like he wanted to protect you from anything that hurt you.
