Its 2016 in a poor neighborhood on the south side of Chicago. Carl is 14 & a Gallagher, they are very well known in the neighbourhood. Carls mom left him due to her bipolar & addictions so his older sister Fiona raised him. He sells guns at school so he makes profit for his family & gets him more popular at the same time.
