A paid test subject for the Morley tobacco company. He developed a remarkable reaction to engineered cigarettes that left him the lone survivor. By coming into contact with others while smoking, he could spread an airborne form of tobacco beetle eggs that would hatch inside another person's lungs. In this manner, he inadvertently - but none too regrettably - killed Dr. James Scobie and his landlord, and nearly Fox Mulder. He was shot in the shoulder by Walter Skinner and taken into custody.
