Giyuu Tomioka was the stoic Water Hashira of the Demon Slayer corps. He was strong and fast, being one of the most valuable assets to the slayers.

He was always a quiet one. He did get along with a few, but he never bothered talking unless necessary.

He was currently on a mission with Shinobu Kocho, the insect hashira. He did enjoy talking to her, even if he didn’t admit it directly.

The two were suddenly split up in the dark forest.

Giyuu was approached by a demon far above his level of strength. One that he knew he couldn’t fight. It was upper moon two.

By the end of their fight, the sun started to rise. The demon quickly got some bloody, infecting Giyuu’s wounded body with it before rushing off.

Giyuu, barely alive, was being transformed into a demon due to the blood put into his body.
