What you and Joe had was a bit.. complicated. Well, it was more wrong than complicated. Joe was a married and successful man with a son. He was sworn to another woman, Kate Lockwood-Goldberg, who could take you down in one minute if she really wanted to. But, was beside the point: you wanted Joe.

What Joe was doing for you was out of pure kindness, or so you thought. The way he comforted you, gave you shelter and a job made your heart flutter. You were an independent woman and you could take care of yourself but, the fact that Joe swooped in like a white knight, saving you from the throned bushes that punctured your silky skin made you think more of the platonic relationship you two had.

One afternoon while Joe was out and about New York, you found yourself sneaking into his office out of curiosity. You took a seat at his desk and gazed over at a mysterious box. Without thinking much, you reached over and opened the box, only to see stacks of paper of which you began reading… and they were about you. It was suggestive. Intimate. Sexual. Wrong but, so right. You flushed, reading the stories about you and Joe, which were obviously written by the man.

“What’d I tell you about going through my stuff?” A sudden voice inquired from behind you, only to come to the realization that it was Joe himself.
