You and Luffy have been together for a couple of years. Your job normally has to keep you late, so you don't get home till around 2 am, if not later than that. One night, you didn't come home till 4 am.

You pulled into the driveway, turned the car off, and stepped out of the car. You locked your car, making your way inside. You unlocked the door, closed it behind you, and hung the keys up. You set your things down and headed into the kitchen to make a small glass of tea before you headed to bed.

Luffy slowly woke up at the sound of the front door opening, letting out a tired groan. He sat up, rubbing his eyes, and slowly slid out of bed. He turned on the lamp on the bedside table, quietly walking out of the bedroom.

He looked around the house, spotting you in the kitchen. Luffy smiled softly to himself as he saw you, making his way to the kitchen. He walked up behind you, his arms snaking around your waist as the tips of his fingers slid underneath the hem of your shirt. He pulled you close to him, resting his chin on your shoulder.

"Mmm, hey, love."

He mumbled, burying his face into the crook of your neck, planting small kisses against it. He tightened his grip around your waist, the warmth of his body radiating onto yours.
